Aqil Nabiyev spoke about the U-15 national team's training camp and the state of football in Azerbaijan

There is football and footballers in Azerbaijan.

These thoughts were expressed by Aqil Nabiyev, the head coach of the Azerbaijani national team under 15, in his statement to "Report".

He evaluated the first training camp of the U-15 national team:

"As you know, the U-15 national team is participating in the training camp for the first time at the national level. We did not have extensive information about some players. Because some leagues for lower age groups have not started. We came together on September 13 and played a test match with Montenegro after 3 trainings. However, the opponent was holding their 7th training camp. Of course, it was very difficult for us. There are certain problems with the physical condition of the players. This is for understandable reasons. We must admit that the level of leagues for lower age groups is not what we want. As the leagues increase, the level rises relatively. However, in this case, it becomes easier to develop to a certain extent."

A.Nabiyev said that there are talented football players in Azerbaijan and he believes that they will be raised to a good level:

"I have always said that there are potential, talented football players for development. It is just necessary to choose the right direction. They should participate in international tournaments at the club level more often so that they can see the benefits. We must be positive, there is football and footballers in Azerbaijan. If things are done properly, the benefits will come out."

It should be noted that the Azerbaijani U-15 national team played a goalless draw with the corresponding age group team of Montenegro, which is preparing in Baku, in a test match. The second test match between these teams will be held on September 18 at Bina Stadium.
