Aqil Nabiyev, the head coach of the Azerbaijan national team consisting of football players under 15, expressed his views after the 2nd test match against the national team of Montenegro of the corresponding age group. Sport24.az reports that he commented on the 3:2 victory in his statement to the AFFA press service:
"This team gathered for training camp for the first time. The opponent, on the other hand, was coming together for the seventh time. Both games took place under our advantage. As a result of correct analysis and efforts, we won the second match."
The head coach said that his players have great potential: "It takes time to get to know the children. They are potential players, but they had serious problems with their physical condition. In the national team, we don't have the opportunity to work on this much. Because we went to the game after only three trainings. We give priority to purely tactical assignments. Our team gives hope for the future. The more preparations and international games there are, the more great things can be done with this team, as well as our U-16 and U-17 national teams."
It should be noted that our national team drew 0:0 in the first match with Montenegro and won the second match with a score of 3:1.
