"I believe in "Qarabag".
These words were said by the deputy of the Milli Majlis, Aqil Abbas.
The Member of Parliament shared his views on the match that the Azerbaijani champion will play against "Newcastle" (England) today in the play-off stage of the UEFA Champions League.
"They will play well this time, because they must have learned a lesson from the last game. I myself always try to write better after a bad writing. I have been living with the love of "Qarabag" for 50 years and I will never speak against the team. Even when we lose, I say: it's football - the team wins, the team loses.
There is an example in Russian: they say that everyone claims to know three areas - football, police work and cinema. If you ask anyone, they will say that they would shoot the film like this, they would play football like this. In fact, most of them don't know anything.
Now everyone talks about what they know and what they don't. They say, why did they concede six goals? After all, it's football - it works out, it doesn't work out. You can't be angry with the team when it loses," he said in a statement to offsideplus.az.
He also emphasized that he regretted Nariman Akhundzade's departure from "Qarabag":
"I loved Nariman very much. They spoiled him. But Nariman was a good and talented football player. Unfortunately, he left. Wherever I see Nariman, I would kiss him. But I wouldn't kiss Addai. Because he keeps the ball in his feet a lot, doesn't give it to anyone, and in the end he makes a mistake. I even jokingly wrote once that "Qarabag" put Addai up for sale, and whoever buys him will also be given money on top of it".
It should be noted that the "Newcastle" - "Qarabag" match will be held in England at 23:59 Baku time. In the first match held in Baku, "Qarabag" lost to its opponent with a score of 1:6.
