İdman.biz reports that central defender Antonio Rüdiger has announced that he will be out of the "Royal Club" squad for a long time due to an injury to the thigh muscle (rectus muscle) of his left leg.
Rüdiger said that Allah did not promise that the road would be easy: "He said that I am with those who are patient".
In the current season, the German footballer has participated in only one game. Last season, he played 55 matches in all tournaments, scoring 3 goals and providing 1 assist.
The defender's contract with the club is valid until the summer of 2026. Transfermarkt estimates the player's market value at around 20 million euros.
