According to the source, the American club wanted to complete the transfer in March. However, the striker stated that he wanted to stay at Atletico Madrid until the end of the season and help the team.
Griezmann has signed a two-year contract with his new club, and the agreement will come into effect this summer. The player is expected to travel to the USA in the next 24 hours to finalize the necessary procedures.
It is noted that after his contract with the Madrid club expires, he will leave the team as a free agent and then join Orlando City.
