According to reports, Gordon became the second player in Champions League history to score four goals in the first half. This record was previously set by Shakhtar Donetsk striker Luis Adriano, who scored four goals in 2014 in an away game against BATE Borisov of Belarus, which they won 7-0 in the group stage.
