Anthony Gordon becomes second player to score 4 goals in first half of CL match (vs. Qarabag)

Newcastle United's forward Anthony Gordon has become the second player in UEFA Champions League history to score four goals in the first half of a match.

Gordon scored the goals against Qarabag FK from Aghdam in a Champions League playoff match.

Idman.Biz, citing OptaJoe, reports that this record previously belonged to Luiz Adriano, who scored four goals for Shakhtar Donetsk against BATE Borisov in October 2014.
