"Antalyaspor" has officially announced the transfer of Russian defender Georgi Dzhikiya. Sport24.az reports that the Turkish club's press service has released information about this.
Although the Turkish club signed a contract with the 31-year-old defender in June this year, "Antalyaspor" was unable to complete the transfer due to a FIFA ban. It was planned to lift the ban after the debts to the players were paid.
On July 23, Dzhikiya appeared in a friendly match between "Antalyaspor" and North Macedonian "Tikvesh" (0:0).
It should be noted that Dzhikiya's last club was "Khimki". The defender appeared in 19 matches for the Moscow region team in the 2024/25 season.
