Another German club is interested in the services of Azerbaijani national team footballer Mahir Emreli.
Idman.biz reports that Kaiserslautern intends to add the 28-year-old striker to their squad.
The 2nd Bundesliga representative plans to acquire Mahir as a free agent. The forward, who will be clubless in the summer due to the non-renewal of his contract with Nuremberg, should strengthen Kaiserslautern's attacking line.
Mahir should replace Ragnar Ache, who is expected to move to Cologne. The club's CEO, Thomas Hengen, and sporting director, Marcel Klos, want to see our national team striker in the team.
