Another player from the French national team did not participate in the last training session before the match against the Azerbaijan national team in the qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup.
"Report" reports, citing local media, that Ibrahima Konate, who was called up from the English club Liverpool, did not participate in the preparation process due to a minor injury.
It was previously reported that Kilian Mbappe also did not participate in training. The national team's medical staff is currently assessing their condition.
It should be noted that the French national team will play its next match in the qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup against the Azerbaijani national team. The match will take place on October 10 at 22:45 Baku time at the "Park de Princes" stadium.
