Barcelona player Robert Lewandowski is close to leaving the club. According to Sport24.az, the Polish striker's wife, Anna Lewandowska, has made a statement about his future at the club.
She emphasized that the 37-year-old footballer's career is already nearing its final stage:
"I hope that Robert will be talked about for many years to come and that fans will not forget him. Because Robert has really done great things. I am proud of him. I know he thinks about this every year, but at the same time I understand that although his career is coming to an end, it is not over yet. The question arises, 'What will happen next?', but this is the path of a great athlete.
We will see how the season goes in Barcelona. Because this is probably my husband's last season at the club. Therefore, you need to enjoy every moment, every game, every meeting with fans."
It should be noted that Robert Lewandowski's contract with Barcelona expires next summer. The Polish striker has been playing for the Catalan representative since the summer of 2022. In the current season, he has scored 12 goals and provided 3 assists in 25 games in all tournaments.
