Andriy Shevchenko, the president of the Ukrainian Football Association, shared his feelings after the 2026 World Cup qualifying match in which they defeated the Azerbaijani national team. Sport24.az reports that the head of the organization concisely congratulated his team on his personal Instagram account.
"Another victory. Congratulations, team," the functionary wrote.
It should be noted that the match in Krakow, Poland, ended with a 2:1 victory for Ukraine.
