There is a golden rule in football, if you don't score, they will score against you. We lost concentration at the end of the game and lost. You have to fight until the last second," said the head coach.
Emphasizing that he does not avoid responsibility, the head coach primarily blamed himself for the defeat:
"No one says that the players are to blame. First of all, the head coach is to blame. So, I didn't do what was necessary to win. I take full responsibility".
Speaking about the Eurocup goals, Demchenko noted that the chances are not over yet: "
We have a goal, we must fight to the end. The opponents will also have games among themselves. I wouldn't say that our chance is completely over. We are trying to adapt the team to modern football - keeping the ball and pressing. We have difficulty transitioning from defense to attack, so we cannot get the desired result."
