Andrea Pirlo has been appointed as the head coach of Dubai's "United" club. According to Sport24.az, the 46-year-old Italian specialist's new team plays in the First Division of the UAE Championship.
Pirlo, the 2006 World Champion as part of the Italian national team, ended his football career in 2017. His last job was "Sampdoria". Pirlo began his professional coaching career in 2020 by leading "Juventus". Before that, he worked in the youth system of the Turin club.
In his first season with "Juve", Pirlo won the Italian Super Cup and the national cup. He then also coached "Fatih Karagümrük" in Turkey.
