Bournemouth Football Club has confirmed that head coach Andoni Iraola will leave the club at the end of the 2025/26 season. This will mark the end of his three-year career at Bournemouth.
Idman.Biz reports that since Iraola's appointment, the club has consistently performed in the English Premier League, scoring a record 56 points in the 2024/25 season, finishing ninth in the final tournament table. Iraola became head coach on July 1, 2023. His contract with Bournemouth runs until June 30, 2026.
"It has been an honour for me to manage Bournemouth and I am proud of the achievements we have achieved together. I am grateful to the players and staff I have worked with. As for the fans, you have continued to give me and the team fantastic support and I will always be grateful for that. I feel that this is the right time for me to leave, but I will always have fantastic memories of this club," Iraola said on the club's official website.
After 32 rounds of the current Premier League season, Bournemouth is in 11th place in the tournament table with 45 points.
