Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola is being considered as a candidate for the Chelsea head coach position. Sport24.az reports that this was reported by the Mail publication.
The 43-year-old specialist is one of the candidates for the head coach position of the "Blues" after Liam Rosenior's dismissal.
Some time ago, Iraola told the Bournemouth management that he would leave his job at the end of the current season. The Spaniard's contract with Bournemouth expires in the summer of 2026. The "Cherries" have already announced who will replace him. The team will prepare for the 2026/27 season under the leadership of Marco Rose.
Iraola took over "Bournemouth" in July 2023. Under his leadership, the team finished last season in ninth place and also reached the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.
It should be noted that "Chelsea", currently with 48 points, is in seventh place in the league table.
