According to Lent.az, Brazil secured a place in the upcoming World Cup by defeating Paraguay in the qualifying tournament.
For Ancelotti himself, this was his second game at the helm of the five-time world champions.
"The team didn't concede a goal in two games because they played well in defense, for example, midfielders like Casemiro put in a great effort. Moreover, we qualified for the World Cup. Everyone worked well, we had no problems in the dressing room. Everything went very well, I don't want to single anyone out in particular. We played with four forwards, the team was balanced," - said Carlo Ancelotti.
Now, although Brazil has two more games in this qualifying stage, they will take place in September.
Until then, the new coach has more work to do.
"First of all, I need to find a place to live, then I'll go to the Club World Cup. Currently, I have a large list of players performing all over the world, in Europe and Arab countries. There are about 70 of them, and we will have time to evaluate each of them. There is no specific list of 25-26 players who will definitely go to the 2026 World Cup," Ancelotti emphasized.
As for the individual characteristics of his team's individual stars, Ancelotti noted a number of leaders.
"I liked Vinicius, he played very well. I met Neymar at the hotel, if he gets in shape, he can play anywhere on the field. It is important that all ten outfield players run and sacrifice themselves. Rodrigo has done this many times, we know him very well. Rafinha is a brilliant player who combines exceptional physical performance with great qualities," said Carlo Ancelotti.
