Head coach Ruben Amorim has stated that Alexandro Garnacho and Jadon Sancho will return to the "Manchester United" squad if they are not sold. As we previously reported, both players were not included in the squad that traveled to the USA. At that time, it was reported that they might all leave the club. Sport24.az reports that Amorim said this at a press conference on the matter:
"The players' exclusion from the squad is due to different reasons. Some are looking for a new club to find more space for themselves in the team, while others openly state that they want new challenges.
Therefore, we give these players time to think and decide. If there comes a moment when they have to join the team, they will do so — because they are still our players.
I know for sure that the CEO and the sporting director have their own opinions regarding the prices of these players. If the amount offered does not reach that price, they will remain "Manchester United" players. This is not a matter of debate.
I understand that some clubs are waiting for the last day of the transfer window, but surprises can also happen. And I am ready to accept these players."
