Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has commented on reports about the possible departure of team captain Bruno Fernandes from the club. This was reported by TNT Sports, according to Sport24.az.
The Portuguese expert said:
"It's important for Bruno to see that we've changed a lot of things at the club. The way we behave, the daily organisation, the tempo of the training sessions – all of that. If he sees that we are doing this at all levels, he will want to stay at the club. He likes this club.
That's the most important thing, not the Champions League. He wants to win with Manchester United. Bruno is at the highest level in training and in terms of behaviour. Everyone here has to be like that. He will stay here for that reason."
It should be noted that, according to earlier reports in the press, Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal is ready to offer Fernandes a weekly salary of 700,000 pounds sterling (approximately 833,000 euros).
In the current season, Fernandes has made 56 appearances, scoring 19 goals and assisting 19 goals. His current contract with the club runs until the summer of 2027.
