Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has confirmed that midfielders Kobbie Mainoo and Bruno Fernandes will miss the Premier League matchday 18 game against Newcastle United on December 26.
Idman.Biz reports that Mainoo missed last week's match against Aston Villa (1:2) due to a calf injury, while Fernandes suffered a soft tissue injury during that game.
"Will Mainoo and Fernandes be able to play against Newcastle United? No, not this time. They are recovering. I don't think it will take long. Kobbie will return sooner than Bruno. I don't want to say how long Bruno will be out for. Of course, I have my guesses, but we'll see," Amorim told Manchester United's press service.
