Amit Guluzade, the head coach of the "Garadag Lokbatan" club playing in the Azerbaijan I League, hoped that the decision of the AFFA Disciplinary Committee to impose a five-match ban on him would be changed.
The expert gave an interview to "Report" about this.
He recalled that he did not insult the referees after the match with "Karvan" in the XXVI round and filed a complaint with the AFFA Appeals Arbitration Tribunal regarding the decision:
"Because I was not guilty. I asked for it to be reviewed. I hoped that the decision would be changed. What can I do? It is a very severe punishment. It is written there that I insulted the referee. But I didn't see the referees after the game. If I didn't see them, how can I say anything to them? I didn't swear when I passed by the referees' room either. For some reason, they gave such a punishment."
A. Guluzade said that he has not yet made a decision regarding his future career: "I don't even know what will happen in general."
It should be noted that A. Guluzade was penalized with a five-match ban for insulting the referees after the match with "Karvan". His appeal to the AFFA Appeals Arbitration Tribunal regarding the decision was not granted.
