Bayern Munich defender Alphonso Davies may end his career at the age of 25.
According to Idman.Biz, citing TopSkills Sports UK, the Canadian is seriously considering ending his career after another injury he sustained yesterday in the Champions League round of 16 match against Atalanta (6:1). The defender tore his thigh muscle.
Bayern are trying to dissuade Davies from this decision. If the player decides to end his career, the Munich club is ready to offer him a special position in the team, taking into account his loyalty to Bayern.
Alphonso Davies has made 13 appearances for Bayern in all competitions this season, providing two assists. His contract runs until June 30, 2030.
