Milan head coach Massimiliano Allegri will ask Real Madrid's management to sign two players from his current team if he is appointed coach of Real Madrid.
Idman.Biz reports this with reference to Tuttosport.
Allegri will want the return of midfielder Luka Modrić, who previously played for Los Blancos. No decision has yet been made on extending the player's contract with the Milan club. Allegri sees the 40-year-old Croatian specialist as someone who can convey the coach's ideas on the field.
The second player could be midfielder Adrien Rabiot, who played a key role at Juventus under Massimiliano and is currently one of Milan's leading players.
It was previously reported that Real Madrid is considering the 58-year-old Italian specialist as their new head coach after the end of the current season.
After 26 games in the Spanish championship, Real Madrid has 60 points and is in second place in the standings, four points behind Barcelona.
