Alina Dorofeyeva: "Rubin" has no chance of making it to the prize-winners

Alina Dorofeyeva, a member of the Azerbaijani women's national team, said that the Russian club "Rubin", for which she plays, has no chance of making it to the prize-winners in the national championship.

The defender stated this in an interview with "Report".

She said that they have no chance of being among the prize-winners because the difference in points with the rivals is large:

"Our main task is to win every match and climb up the tournament table. We are currently in 11th place, and I don't think we have a chance to be among the prize-winners. Because the difference is too big."

She said she was happy to be included in the symbolic team of the XV round after the match with "Zvezda-2005" in the national championship:

"Of course, I am glad that I was able to get into the symbolic team of the round. But the most important thing is that the team won 3 points and won."

A. Dorofeyeva also touched upon being the author of a productive pass and the goal episode in the game with "Zvezda-2005":

"It was a good game for us. I took the ball from the opponent and gave a productive pass. The defenders could not prevent this. As a result, our striker managed to send the ball into the goal."

It should be noted that "Rubin", for which A. Dorofeyeva plays, won the XV round of the Russian championship against the "Zvezda-2005" club with a score of 2:0. The defender, who was the author of a productive pass (21st minute) in the game, was included in the symbolic team of the round.
