"Everyone knows the strength of "Qarabag". We had chances in the first half, the referee went to VAR. He could have given a penalty, or not. We fought well in the match against the champion." These words were said by the guest team's football player Ali Samadov in his statement to Sport24.az after the "Qarabag" - "Kapaz" match (3:0) held in the 35th round of the Misli Premier League.
Samadov shared his thoughts on Kapaz's new sponsor:
"In the match, the players of "Qarabag" were more accurate and made maximum use of the episodes. A new sponsor has come to the team. The season is just about to end. We don't know what goals "Kapaz" will set for the next season. This year our goal was to stay in the Premier League, which we succeeded in doing. We are currently trying to maintain 8th place. My contract is expiring, there are offers. It is not possible to negotiate with any club yet. I will make a decision after meeting with the management of "Kapaz" at the end of the season."
It should be noted that "Kapaz" is in 8th place with 32 points in the Misli Premier League with one round remaining.
