Ali Koç, the president of Turkish club Fenerbahçe, has confessed that parting ways with Jose Mourinho was a difficult decision.
İdman.biz reports that Fenerbahçe said goodbye to the Portuguese specialist after losing to Benfica in the UEFA Champions League qualifying matches.
"I had a lot of difficulty parting ways with Mourinho. It wasn't about financial issues or who would replace him. He was a part of my family, he was more than just a coach. Our relationship was not just about football. We had family relationships," said Koç.
