Aleksey Isayev, the midfielder of "Qarabağ" and the Azerbaijani national team, spoke about the peculiarities of his life in Baku. Sport24.az reports that the "naturalized" football player spoke about this in an exclusive interview with Oleg Lysenko, a correspondent for "Championat":
"When I was a child, there were representatives of many nationalities among my friends in the yard. I had heard a lot about the country's cuisine and culture from my Azerbaijani friends in Krasnoyarsk. The only thing I got used to in Baku was the long traffic jams. Perhaps they cannot be compared with those in Moscow, but there are also very big traffic jams here.
I think that after so many years, a slight accent has appeared in my speech. I understand that I came here as a guest and I must respect the local culture. There are customs and traditions here. Who am I to break these rules or introduce my own rules? Of course, there is no such thing."
It should be noted that Isayev is a graduate of Krasnoyarsk football. He previously played for "Yenisey", "Zenit-2", Sumgayit" and "Sabah".
