Newcastle have reached an agreement with Liverpool for the sale of Aleksandr Isak. Insider Fabrizio Romano reported this on his social media account, Sport24.az reports.
The contract is worth 130 million pounds, making it the most expensive transfer in Premier League history. The most expensive deal to date was Florian Wirtz's move from Bayer to Liverpool for 125 million euros (approximately 108 million pounds).
The footballer will undergo a medical examination on September 1 before leaving for the Swedish national team.
It should be noted that Isak scored 23 goals and provided 6 assists in 34 matches in the Premier League last season.
