Norwegian national team footballer Alexander Sørloth has entered the history of the Spanish club "Atletico".
"Report" reports, citing the "Opta Sport" statistics portal, that the 30-year-old striker achieved this by scoring three goals in the return match of the UEFA Champions League (UCL) play-off stage, in which they defeated the Belgian representative "Brugge" (4:1).
The forward is the first player in the history of the Madrid team to score a hat-trick in the play-offs of this tournament.
Sørloth is also the second player in the club's history to score three times in a single UCL match, including the group stage. Previously, Croatian Mario Mandzukic managed to do this in 2014.
It should be noted that Alexander Sørloth has scored 15 goals in 36 games for Atletico this season.
