Jordi Alba respects Lamine Yamal's talent but rejects comparisons to Messi.
According to Lent.az, citing foreign press, the Inter Miami defender initially laughed at a meeting with journalists: "You need a headline..." and then praised the young player, mentioning other Barcelona leaders - Frenkie, Pedri and others.
But when asked directly if Yamal could be the next Messi, Alba immediately stated that the topic was closed:
"Comparing Lamine to Leo... there can be no comparison. Messi has no rival."
Alba and Messi have reunited at Inter Miami and Jordi knows very well how much level is needed to get close to Leo.
Yamal has great talent, but according to Alba, Messi's place is completely out of the question.
