Al-Nassr management has dismissed the club's CEO, Majid Jaman Al-Sorour. According to Sport24.az, the Saudi Arabian representative's press service issued a statement saying:
"Information has been received from various sources regarding certain actions of the CEO. Based on this, the Board of Directors decided to suspend his powers from May 8 and conduct an investigation. Al-Sorour was officially informed and fully aware of all the details. He signed an official document regarding the non-disclosure of information."
"During the investigation, the CEO violated his obligations by tweeting from his personal account, thereby damaging the company's reputation. Following this, the Board of Directors unanimously decided to terminate his contract."
Al-Sorour has announced that he will appeal the decision in court.
It should be noted that Al-Nassr, which Cristiano Ronaldo defends the honor of, finished third in the Saudi Arabian Championship in the 2024/25 season.
