PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi has clarified the issue of extending the contract with Usman Dembele, the winner of the Ballon d'Or. Sport24.az reports that he made a statement to RMC Sport about this:
"The club has a salary cap policy for players. Everyone knows this and everyone must adhere to it.
Usman is a club legend. I love Usman both as a player and as a person. He is a wonderful person."
It should be noted that recently the media reported that Dembele rejected the club's initial offer regarding the extension of the contract. It is reported that the striker is dissatisfied with his salary. Although PSG offered Dembele a salary of slightly more than 30 million euros per year, he demanded twice as much.
