"Al-Ittihad" midfielder N'Golo Kante's transfer to "Fenerbahce" has failed. Sport24.az reports that the press service of the Istanbul giant has released information about this.
The Saudi Arabian club was unable to complete the formalization of documents within the specified period.
"Fenerbahce" stated that they fulfilled all their obligations on time and uploaded the documents correctly for the registration of the transfer. However, the transaction was not completed due to mistakes made by the other party.
The club's official statement emphasized that 34 players underwent medical examinations. However, "Al-Ittihad" did not complete the registration procedure within the specified time and did not provide any explanation for this.
It should be noted that N'Golo Kante has played 26 matches in all tournaments for "Al-Ittihad" this season, scored 2 goals and provided 1 assist.
