Italian head coach Luciano Spalletti may become the new head coach of "Al-Ittihad." Insider Fabrizio Romano shared this on his social media account, according to Sport24.az.
According to sources, the management of the Saudi Arabian club has begun negotiations with the 66-year-old Italian. Former Barcelona head coach Xavi and Sergio Conceicao, who coached Milan, are also among the candidates.
It should be noted that Al-Ittihad management parted ways with Laurent Blanc on September 28 after a 0-2 defeat to Al-Nassr.
During his career, Spalletti has also coached St. Petersburg "Zenit", "Roma", "Inter", "Napoli" and the Italian national team.
