Manchester City defender Manuel Akanji may continue his career at Milan.
Lent.az reports with reference to foreign media that negotiations between the clubs are proceeding successfully. The transfer of the 30-year-old Swiss player will depend on his decision and the final agreement of the parties.
It was previously reported that Galatasaray had also reached an agreement for Akanji's transfer for 17 million euros, but the deal fell through.
It should be reminded that the defender is a product of Swiss football, having played for Winterthur, Basel and Borussia Dortmund. He has been playing for the Swiss national team since 2017. His contract with Manchester City is valid until the summer of 2027. Transfermarkt values his worth at 28 million euros.
