Ajax captain Davy Klaassen, whose team is one of Qarabag's opponents in the UEFA Champions League group stage, assessed the draw. Sport24.az reports that the 32-year-old midfielder said that the long trip to Azerbaijan disappointed them:
"It's nice to be back in the Champions League. Because you face the best teams. Our opponents are big clubs. We have to travel a long way for the game with Qarabag. It's a bit disappointing. As for the other opponents, everything is fine. Everything surrounding the Champions League is simply on a high level. The anthem, the ball, the atmosphere - everything is good. It cannot be compared to the UEFA Europa League. I am very happy that the Champions League is back in Amsterdam".
