Barcelona midfielder Aitana Bonmatí has been named FIFA's Best Women's Player of 2025.
İdman.Biz reports that the Spanish player previously broke the record by winning the 2025 Ballon d'Or award for the third consecutive time.
Last season, Aitana Bonmatí won the Spanish League, the Copa de la Reina, and the Spanish Women's Super Cup with the Catalan club. The midfielder scored 16 goals and provided 12 assists.
With the national team, the player reached the final of the European Championship, where Spain lost to England on penalties (1:1, 1:3). Nevertheless, Bonmatí was named the best player of the tournament.
