The goal of the Azerbaijani national team consisting of football players under 21 is to return from Belarus in high spirits.
This was stated by Aghadadash Salyanski, a member of the U-21 team, to the "Report" correspondent sent to Minsk.
The "Neftchi" footballer stated that they are focused on winning the upcoming matches:
"We want to return from the Belarus trip in high spirits. The goal in the next friendly match against Montenegro in Sumgayit will also be to win. We have been placed in a difficult group in the qualifying round of the European Championship. Nevertheless, we will fight well. We will try to represent our country properly.
We want to win the test matches so that we have good motivation. Our head coach Aykhan Abbasov also trusts us and wants us to win. We are working for this."
It should be noted that the U-21 national team will hold a friendly match with the corresponding age group team of Belarus on June 4 at the Baranovichi city stadium, and with Montenegro on June 8 at the Mehdi Huseynzade Sumgayit city stadium.
