"One of the top European clubs is in Azerbaijan. The team achieved this with its game and development graph. Our representative scored few goals just yesterday. We had more episodes than the German club." These words were said by Agasalim Mirjavadov in an interview with Sport24.az.
The experienced expert shared his thoughts on "Qarabağ's" victory over the German team "Eintracht" from the UEFA Champions League:
"In the opponent's first goal episode, our defenders made a positional mistake. Such errors should not be allowed in European Cup matches. The shot was not that strong, but it was accurate. Except for this mistake, the defenders played intelligently in the remaining minutes. Before the opponent's penalty episode, Kamillo Duras was knocked down, and in that episode, the referee gave a continuation signal, and "Eintracht" won a penalty in a counter-attack. The contact was stronger on our football player than on the opponent. The referee did not listen to VAR and gave a penalty. Our team showed character. In addition to "Qarabağ", several teams have a chance to reach the play-offs. The Agdam representative must play smart football away against "Liverpool". I think our team will qualify for the play-offs. In the match with "Eintracht", "Qarabağ" decided its fate."
It should be noted that "Qarabağ" defeated the previous German club with a score of 3:2.
