"Neftchi" hindered itself to win the game against "Shamakhi". These words were said by Agasalim Mircavadov in his statement to Sport24.az.
The experienced specialist shared his thoughts on the "Shamakhi" - "Neftchi" (2:2) match held in the XXII round of the Misli Premier League:
"Everything becomes clear when discussing the teams' budgets. True, there were referee errors. He is a young referee, mistakes are inevitable. If "Neftchi" wants to qualify for European cups, they must beat teams that are weaker than themselves in terms of budget and quality."
Mircavadov said that the "black and whites" played equally with their opponent until the last minutes.
"Neftchi" should have decided the fate of the game sooner. It is difficult to make up for the goals conceded in the last minutes. In the current situation, they have to win every match to go to the continental tournament. Chances in the Cup are lost, hope remains in the Premier League. "Neftchi" played very weakly in Shamakhi."
