Chelsea and Spanish national team defender Marc Cucurella has clarified the incident with Adama Traore in the game against West Ham, which was widely discussed on social media. In that episode, there was physical tension between the two "La Masia" graduates, and Traore literally threw his opponent aside.
İdman.Biz reports with reference to the "FanZone" program that Cucurella said that he wanted to create a little tension while recalling that moment.
To the host Gerard Romero, who reminded that both players are Catalan and graduates of "Barcelona", and to the opinion that "this issue must be resolved," Cucurella jokingly, but harshly, replied:
"No, this is football. I have no personal problem, but after this incident, if I see him on the street, I will hesitate whether to say hello or not."
Adama Traore, who joined the program live, said that what happened was due to the heat of the game:
"Cucurella is a very good person. Everything stayed on the field, it was just a momentary anger. I didn't really intend to do it."
