"The most important thing in my life is my mother."
İdman.biz reports that veteran football player Afran Ismayilov said this in journalist Azer Ismayil's "YouTube" project.
He talked about the reasons why he did not continue his career abroad. Ismayilov said that the main reason for staying in the country is his attachment to his mother: "I have dedicated not only my goals, but also the fruits of all the hardships I have endured throughout my life to my mother. I always thought of building a bigger house for my mother, so that she would be more comfortable. Thank God I became a football player and fulfilled all the wishes my mother told me. I bought her a big house and did whatever she wanted so that she wouldn't suffer. One of the main reasons why I didn't go abroad is my mother. I have received many offers from foreign clubs in the past. I didn't go because I couldn't leave my mother alone. I can't live without her. But I advise young football players to live the life of a legionnaire. This is a must for development."
It should be noted that Afran Ismayilov played for "Qarabag", "Turan", "Baku", "Khazar Lankaran" and "Keshla" during his career. The former member of the Azerbaijani national team is currently continuing his career as an assistant coach at the "Araz-Nakhchivan" club.
