The winners of the 2024/2025 season of the AFFA Women's Higher League have been awarded.
According to "Report", the press service of the organization has released information about this.
In the last match of the season, "Neftchi" defeated "Sumgayit" with a score of 4:0. Thus, "Neftchi" took first place in the championship, "Dirchelish" representing Zagatala took second place, and "Sumgayit" took third place.
After the match, the award ceremony was held at the Neftchi Football Center. "Dirchelish" and "Sumgayit" were awarded silver and bronze medals, respectively, and "Neftchi" was awarded a gold medal and a cup.
Also, individual winners have been determined. "Neftchi" player Joshguna Aliyeva became the most productive player of the season with 31 goals. Another member of the capital club, Ayshen Salamzade, was the best player of the season, and from "Dirchelish"
Aytaj Feyzullayeva was chosen as the best goalkeeper.
The award ceremony was attended by Amina Hasanova, the head of the Women's Football Department of AFFA, Habib Agayev, the head coach of the national team under 19, Nargiz Gurbanova, the head coach of the national team under 17, and Cenk Sumer, the chief executive director of "Neftchi".
