The winners of the 2024/2025 season of the AFFA U-17 League have been awarded.
Idman.biz reports that "Neftchi" has won the champion title.
In the last matches of the 45th round, "Neftchi" defeated "Turan Tovuz" 6:0, and "Qarabag" defeated "Sabail" 8:0. Thus, "Neftchi" finished the season as champion with 109 points, and "Qarabag" finished in second place with 108 points.
An award ceremony was held after the matches. "Zira", which took 3rd place in the championship, was awarded bronze medals, and "Qarabag", the owner of the 2nd place, was awarded silver medals. The champion "Neftchi" was awarded gold medals and a cup.
The winners in individual nominations have also been determined. Ali Ibrahim, a football player of "Qarabag", who scored a hat-trick in the last round and brought his total number of goals to 61, became the owner of the award given to the most productive player. According to the survey conducted among the participating teams and the opinion of the head coach of the Azerbaijani national team consisting of football players under 18 years old, Ali Gazibeyov, another member of "Qarabag", was chosen as the best player of the season.
