The 2024/2025 season of the AFFA U-17 Girls League has concluded.
İdman.biz reports that in the final match of the season held at "ASK Arena", "Sabah" won 8:0 over "Mingachevir".
"Sabah" finished the season as champion with 36 points. "Shafa", which took second place with 30 points, won silver, and "Neftchi", which scored 21 points, won bronze medal.
After the game, the top three winners were awarded medals and diplomas. The winners in individual nominations were also announced. Aysu Asadova, a football player from "Sabah", was chosen as the best player of the season, and Nargiz Agaliyeva, a member of "Shafa", was chosen as the best goalkeeper. Sara Salimova, a player of "Neftchi", who scored 53 goals during the season, received the award for the most productive football player.
The awards were presented by Amina Hasanova, head of the AFFA Women's Football Department, Siyasat Asgarov, head coach of the women's A national team, and Nargiz Gurbanova, head coach of the Azerbaijani national team under 17.
