AFFA Technical Director: "Qarabag" is the favorite in the "Qarabag" - "Shelbourne" tie, and a difficult match awaits

The Aghdam club is the favorite in the "Qarabag" - "Shelbourne" (Ireland) tie of the II qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League.

AFFA Technical Director Jahangir Hasanzadeh said this in his statement to "Report".

He said that a difficult match awaits "Qarabag":

"Qarabag" already has a style and philosophy. Their opponent doesn't have great strength either. But this does not mean that "Qarabag" will win by a large score. Because the opponent is a representative of European football and will at least try to keep the intrigue for the next game. Therefore, I can say that a difficult game awaits "Qarabag". Moreover, there is the issue of fan pressure away from home. Overall, "Qarabag" is superior. But the team also has shortcomings - new players have joined the team. Will they adapt to the philosophy quickly, or will it take time? This issue may affect the course of the game. True, the team conceded and scored a lot of goals in the preparation games. But this may also be due to the rotations carried out during the games, not to the problems in defense. So I don't think there are problems in defense. Most likely, Gurban Gurbanov took certain steps to fully see the potential of the players. In any case, I think that "Qarabag" is the favorite of the pair".

It should be noted that the "Shelbourne" - "Qarabag" match will start at 22:45 Baku time at the "Tolka Park" stadium in Dublin.
