AFFA employees participated in group work and training processes on the development of girls' creativity and game-based development from an early age, development of leadership, self-confidence and social skills through the game of football at the conference organized by UEFA under the name "Playmakers".
It should be noted that the project for girls aged 5-8 was launched in Azerbaijan in 2023 and covers 24 centers. The 6 girls' teams created as a result of the project will be involved in the U-12 Girls' League organized under the flag of AFFA in the 2025/2026 season. The main purpose of the project is to encourage the active participation of girls in games and creative activities from an early age, to strengthen gender equality values in society from an early age, and to support the development of talented girls as professional football players, coaches and leaders in the future.
