A meeting of the AFFA Disciplinary Committee was held. Sport24.az reports that the following decisions were made at the meeting regarding the matches of the XXI round of the First League:
On April 9, 2026, in the 90+1st minute of the XXI round of the First League match "Shafa" - "Sabail", the translator of the "Sabail" team, Fariz Ismayilov, was suspended for 3 matches for receiving a direct red card for unethical expression or action, and the "Sabail" team was fined 2400 manat (article 52.3);
On April 9, 2026, in the 77th minute of the XXI round of the First League match "Difai" - "Shahdag Gusar", the "Shahdag Gusar" team's player number 40, Kwaku Adjey, was suspended for 1 match for receiving a red card from a second yellow card, and the "Shahdag Gusar" team was fined 150 manat (articles 17.5, 17.7);
