AFFA President Rovshan Najaf congratulated the Azerbaijani national team of under-16 football players on their 4:0 victory over the Kyrgyz team at the III CIS Games held in Gabala.
"Today, the Azerbaijani national team of under-16 football players played their second match at the III CIS Games held in Gabala.
Our team won 4:0 against the Kyrgyz national team and qualified for the final of the tournament.
I congratulate our football players and coaching staff on this magnificent victory, and I wish our team success in the final match".
It should be noted that in the final game to be held on October 4 at the Gabala city stadium, the U-16 national teams of Azerbaijan and Russia will face each other.
