Today, a meeting of the AFFA Licensing Commission was held. Sport24.az reports that the documents of the clubs that applied to participate in UEFA's men's and women's club competitions in the 2025/2026 season were reviewed at the meeting.
After discussions based on Article 9 of the AFFA Licensing Regulations for Azerbaijani Football Clubs (Edition 2024), the AFFA Licensing Commission made the following decisions:
1. To issue licenses to the following clubs to participate in UEFA men's club competitions:
"Araz-Nakhchivan" PFK, "Qarabag" FK, "Neftchi" PFK, "Sabah" FK, "Sumgayit" FK, "Turan Tovuz" PFK İB, "Zira" PFK.
2. To issue licenses to the following clubs to participate in UEFA women's club competitions:
"Neftchi" PFK, "Sumgayit" FK.
